Marty’s story can be retold to smaller children in an easy way for them. The “colour me” worksheets help them become familiar with the character, learn about his antennas (head-heart and hand), and connect to his inquisitive outlook on life: “One thing’s for sure, one thing I know, I will learn something new wherever I go”.

The worksheets for this age group, some of which are equipped with templates, offer hints and activities to set a gradual process into motion. Children enjoy “playing Marty”, making their antennas, putting him “back together”, playing with the “character memory game” that they build themselves, making their “6 senses booklet”, etc., as they learn to “watch their steps” and concentrate their “antennas” like Marty... In the meantime, our friend and Mascot shares his findings on values such as friendship and kindness through parallel stories, songs and activities, taken both from Marty’s inspiration, and from the rich resources of one’s own experience and teaching materials.
