Worksheets 6-9

The worksheets, some of which are equipped with templates, all offer focus and activities to set the value-topic into context and help children deepen its meaning. They are proposed as support to the parent or teacher keen on value education.   Owing to the "elastic capacity" of Marty's metaphor,  and the topics themselves that "grow with us", many of them, though designed for younger children, can be  adapted to older age groups.

Even adults enjoy working at the paper craft activities; when used during parenting meetings they offer a creative platform for a relaxing and uplifting exchange of experience on how to improve one's own practice of the values and become a better example of the same. Back home, and/or in class,  proposing the activities to the children becomes even more fun and involving. One example of their "elastic capacity" is the human value cards activity. Picking values is a key practice for young and old.  It is fun and very effective, helps us become more conscious of the importance of human values and is a call to manifest them. A box of colourful values offers guidance even at one's workplace.
